Are ECCO Shoes True to Size? Quick Reference:

Fit Standard: ECCO footwear fits true to European size. Because ECCO manufactures in European whole sizes, UK conversions span split sizes (for example, EU 42 covers UK 8 – 8.5).

Natural Foot Fit (Freedom Fit): ECCO features a signature anatomical fit: snug at the heel and instep, with a roomier, wider toe box allowing your toes to spread naturally.

Dual-Fit Insoles: Many modern ECCO styles incorporate removable dual-fit insoles. Removing the secondary lower inlay creates extra internal volume and width without changing shoe length.

Fitting Tip: If you are between sizes, we recommend selecting your usual European shoe size. For winter hiking boots or waterproof walking footwear worn with heavier socks, consider stepping up to the next full EU size.
