Are Start-rite Shoes True to Size? Quick Reference:
- Fit Standard: Start-rite shoes fit true to UK size. Precision lasts are designed in UK half-size increments.
- Built-In Growing Room: All Start-rite shoes are designed with approximately 1.2 cm to 1.4 cm (roughly a thumb's width) of growing room already built in. Choose your child's measured size—do not manually size up for growing room, as excess length can cause tripping and poor gait development.
